We understand the importance of education in shaping the future of these children. Our foundation provides educational resources, mentoring, conducts workshops and awareness campaigns aimed at creating awareness of disabilities, chronic illnesses, breaking stigma surrounding mental health. The foundation offer support to the caregivers through individual and group therapy; mental health assessments; training and workshops; provision of tools and resources to help caregivers navigate their own challenges.
The Diaper Drive initiative addresses the challenge faced by children with disabilities and chronic illnesses who may struggle with comfortable toilet use. The Susan Kahema Foundation actively participates in The Diaper Drive, seeking donations to provide diapers for these children, offering them a dignified and comfortable experience
We encourage you to donate sanitary towels to help tackle period poverty among children with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Together, we can ensure a dignified menstrual experience for this unique community. This initiative focuses on improving access to menstrual products, education, and hygiene facilities.
